Try two tasty remedies for nausea

Ginger Syrup and lollipops are two delicious ways to tame the morning — or sometimes all-day — nausea that affects some 70% of pregnant women.

Ginger Honey Tonic
A proven remedy for nausea, ginger tea is often recommended for morning sickness; it wasn't known whether the syrup would have the same effect. So the makers did something I wish more herb manufacturers would do: They submitted their product for a clinical trial to see if it worked. The study was small, but those who took the syrup had more significant reductions in both nausea and vomiting than did those who took a placebo syrup.

Ginger Honey Tonic, from New Chapter, is available at most health food stores. It mixes easily in seltzer to make a natural ginger ale.
