As leaders in the supplement industry, we’re here to show how it’s done. For example, we’re piloting a program with leading sustainability consultants that onboards suppliers to our sustainability goals and code of conduct. This helps deepen supplier engagement in ethical and sustainable sourcing.

The world is in a climate emergency–and the status quo is a no-go. New Chapter is on the path to being a Climate Positive business. Our next goals include reducing emissions, innovating packaging, and improving soil health by supporting regenerative farming.

We are working to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion and advocate for social justice throughout our entire value chain. This includes improving hiring practices and volunteering together.

We travel the globe to identify and build strong relationships with supplier partners who share our commitment to sustainable sourcing. Knowing our suppliers and the origins of their harvest helps us uphold a supply chain that is both socially responsible and environmentally sound.
Suppliers follow a written code of conduct—a clear set of principles that cover ecological sustainability, human rights and fair working conditions, wage and hour practices, and non-discrimination.
New Chapter is a Zero Waste to Landfill facility, which reduces our carbon footprint and uses energy recovery to convert our waste into clean energy. When it comes to zero waste, we walk the talk every day at New Chapter’s headquarters in Brattleboro, Vermont. We compost, recycle, or reuse more than 80% of the waste we produce—everything from lunch leftovers and office paper to pallets and shrink-wrap.
